Joaquín Camino (Santiago Magill) es un joven homosexual de la alta sociedad de Lima, Perú, por lo que se ve enfrentado a los prejuicios de sus propios padres y al rechazo de una sociedad homofóbica y supuestamente muy conservadora, aunque altamente hipócrita. Esta novela al igual que la película, generaron controversia en ciudad de Lima: al dejar al descubierto, cierta cantidad de gays de armario, y adictos al vicio que se mueven en un mundo muy conservador.
*Basada en el libro homónimo autobiográfico de Jaime Bayly quien también participó como guionista. Se estrenó en 1998. Fue la primera película con temática homosexual hecha en el Perú lo cual la convierte en un interesante reflejo de la sociedad de la época.
